Carla Silverstein joined Park Strategies, LLC in October of 2005 working directly with Gregory Serio, former New York Insurance Superintendent. Ms. Silverstein is based in the Albany office of Park Strategies, LLC. She is responsible for all of Mr. Serio's scheduling, travel, as well as assisting in client communications. She works with Park Strategies clients on a daily basis as well as co-managing with Mr. Serio. Ms. Silverstein is also a member of the media team for Park Strategies working on the development of publicity materials and a new website initiative.

Ms. Silverstein was formerly Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and Director of Special Projects for the New York Insurance Department. She was instrumental in the implementation and continuance of the Healthy NY program which is a health insurance initiative for small business, sole proprietors and working individuals as well as being responsible for the Small Business program for the insurance department. She was also very involved in the disaster preparedness program as well as being the liaison with State Emergency Management Office. She was also the co-creator of the Insurance Emergency Operations Center at the insurance department in conjunction with SEMO and NYC OEM.
