John R. Zagame

John R. Zagame has been an Associate at Park Strategies, LLC. since 2004, assisting major New York clients to develop governmental and public communications strategies. His government experience includes service as a member of the NYS Assembly (1974-1980), where he served on the Committees on Ways and Means, Cities, and Labor. From 1980 to1984 he served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Alfonse M. D’Amato, and from 1993 to1997 as Executive Director of the New York State Association of Counties. Mr. Zagame also represented a diverse range of domestic and international clients as President of John R. Zagame Associates, Inc., Washington, D.C. (1985-1993). He is a 1973 honors graduate of Syracuse University, where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
