John R. ZagameJohn Zagame joined Park Strategies as a Vice President in 2002. Mr. Zagame has extensive and varied experience in federal, state, and local government. He has also developed private sector expertise in real estate development projects, and in the energy, communications, and high-tech industries.
Mr. Zagame served as a member of the New York State Assembly from 1974-1980, where he sat on the Ways and Means Committee. He went on to serve for three years as Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator Alfonse D’Amato, helping establish the Senator’s reputation for responsive constituent services.
Mr. Zagame was appointed Deputy for White House Liaison at the Republican National Committee during the Reagan and Bush Presidencies. Then from 1993-1997, he served as Executive Director of the New York State Association of Counties.
He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Syracuse University, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He lives with his wife in Albany, N.Y.
