Robert McBrideRobert McBride joined Park Strategies in 2003 as a Vice President. An accomplished entrepreneur, he provides practical counsel in strategic and tactical areas of business development and public policy for clients in real estate, pharmaceuticals, investment banking, waste management, healthcare and other industries.
Mr. McBride’s career began in 1982 when he took possession of a small, New York-based ground transportation company and then rapidly expanded the business. In less than 15 years, he had the largest and most successful operation in the region. He sold the franchise in 2000 and for a time oversaw the Northeast operations, mergers and acquisitions for Coach USA, the largest ground transportation company in the world.
Today, Mr. McBride operates a company based in Denver, Colorado, distinguished for its environmentally friendly fleet of hybrid vehicles. In 2011, Mr. McBride begins his term as the newly elected president of the Taxi Limousine & Paratransit Association.
Profiled in regional and national business publications, Mr. McBride was recognized by Long Island Business News as an influential leader of 2010 in its 50 Around 50 awards program. Mr. McBride is also recognized for his community service. He has served on the boards of The Leukemia Society, the Education and Assistance Corporation and Long Island's United Way. In 2010, he was awarded the "Citizen of the Year" by the New York Grand Lodge Foundation Son's of Italy and the "Favorite Son Award" from the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick Long Island. Previous honors include recognitions from The Irish Americans in Government, Helen Keller Services for the Blind, and the National Center for the Furtherance of Jewish Education.
Mr. McBride studied Business Administration at the State University of New York. He currently resides in Dix Hills with his wife Marion.
