Christopher D'Amato is Executive Vice President and Managing Director at Park Strategies, LLC. Mr. D'Amato also serves as the chief compliance officer to Park Strategies.
Mr. D'Amato has worked for the firm since March of 2001, where he serves as the primary liaison between clients, potential corporate partners, and government entities on a daily basis. In addition, Mr. D'Amato coordinates the New York office’s state, federal, and local lobbying efforts and handles all legal matters on behalf of the firm. Mr. D'Amato is responsible for vetting all potential clients and negotiating the scope and terms of lobbying, consulting, and advisory engagements.
From 1999 to 2001, Mr. D'Amato served as a Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Northeast Regional Office in New York. At the SEC, Mr. D'Amato directed investigations into individuals and corporations accused of violating the state and federal securities laws and regulations. Prior to joining the SEC, Mr. D'Amato served for four years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Trial Division of the Manhattan District Attorney's Office in New York, where he was responsible for coordinating investigations into criminal activity and directing the prosecution and trial of criminal defendants.
Mr. D'Amato has served on various boards including the National Prostate Cancer Coalition and Primary Metals, Inc., a publically traded Canadian mineral exploration company. He presently serves on the Board of Trustees at the Kew Forest School, an independent K-12 school located in Queens where he chairs the Development Committee.
Mr. D'Amato is a graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law, and is a member of the New York State Bar, 2nd Department, and admitted to practice before the Federal District Court in the Southern District of New York. Mr. D'Amato earned his bachelor’s degree at Georgetown University and resides with his wife, Amy, and their three children in Forest Hills, New York.
